Ağaçların tepelerinde, Hudson Nehri'nin tam karşısında Residence 3E bulunmaktadır. Bir zamanlar Superior Ink fabrikası olan bu yeniden tasarlanan mekan, dünyaca ünlü Robert A.M. Stern Architects tarafından, Yabu Pushelberg’un iç mekan tasarımıyla oluşturulmuştur.

Bu iki yatak odalı, iki buçuk banyolu ev, 1.600 kare alanını aşan, on feet yüksekliğinde tavanlara sahip bir tasarıma sahiptir. Her odadan büyük pencerelerle ışık içeri girer ve yerleşim batıya bakar, başka hiçbir yapı tarafından engellenmez. Tüm daire Morado herringbone ahşap zeminlerle kaplanmıştır ve gürültü önleyici pencereyle hemen hemen sessiz bir ortam sunar. Girişte bir antre, misafirlere bir toz odası, derin bir kaban dolabı ve yerleşik depolama alanı olan tam boy bir çamaşır/kurutma makinesi dolabı ile karşılar.

Özel tasarım Wenge mutfak, mavi damarli Cipolino mermer arka duvar ve beyaz kuvarsit tezgahlarla donatılmıştır ve iki duvar fırını, havalandırmalı ocak, hız fırını, buzdolabı/dondurucu, bulaşık makinesi ve şarap soğutucusu dahil olmak üzere Viking ve Subzero marka tam donanımlı aletler içerir. Eğlence için mükemmel olan açık konsept tasarım, tümü cömert bir oturma/yemek alanına bakan adada yer alan bir kahvaltı barı ile de dikkat çekmektedir.

Ana suit, yatak odası koridorunun sonunda yer almaktadır. Özel alan, bağımsız bir küvet, çift lavabo ve ayrı cam kaplı yağmur duşu ile su closet’i bulunan traverten kaplamalı bir banyo içerir. Suit, yerleşik çekmeceleri ve askı depolaması bulunan, giysi depolamak için iki donanımlı yürüyüş dolabı sunmaktadır; biri bir giyinme odası kadar büyük ve ayrıca ayrı bir havlu dolabı vardır. İkinci yatak odası da özel donanımlı bir dolaba ve en-suite banyoya sahiptir.

Superior Ink, West Village'ın ağaçlarla çevrili taş döşeli sokakları arasında bulunan, sınırlı sayıda tam hizmet sunan dairelerden biridir. Olanaklar arasında tam zamanlı kapı personeli, garaj, spor salonu, çocuk oyun odası, bisiklet depolama alanı ve yerinde super bulunmaktadır.

Perched among the treetops directly across from the Hudson River sits Residence 3E.   Once the Superior Ink factory, this reimagined site was designed by world-renowned Robert A.M. Stern Architects with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg.      

This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home expands just over 1,600 square feet with soaring ten-foot ceilings.  Light streams in from oversized windows in every room as the layout faces west, unobstructed by any other structures.  The entire apartment is finished with Morado herringbone wood floors and noise cancelling windows keep the space next to silent.  Upon entry a foyer greets guests with a powder room, a deep coat closet and full-size washer/dryer closet with built-in storage.
