Perry ve Charles Caddesi arasında, West Fourth Caddesi'nin sessiz bir bölümünde yer alan bu dört katlı tuğla townhouse, 1877 yılında inşa edilmiştir. Alexander M. McKean tarafından geç Fransız İkinci İmparatorluk tarzında tasarlanmış ve Neo-Yunan bir korniş ile taçlandırılmıştır. İçeride, bu 15’ genişliğindeki evin orijinal detayları özenle restore edilmiştir. Yenileme, bu dikkat çekici evin karakterini korumakta ve saygı duymakta, elektrik, su tesisatı ve gaz hizmetini güncelleyerek tamamen modern hale getirmekte, ancak donanım, zemin, armatürler ve her yere yayılmış tarihi sıva medalyonları ve kalıplar gibi orijinal detayları korumakta ve restore etmektedir. Diğer iyileştirmeler arasında yeni pencereler, merkezi HVAC ve Sonos tam ev ses sistemi (geçen yıl en son ekipmanla güncellendi) bulunmaktadır. Bu mücevher gibi townhouse, her katta doğu ve batı manzaralarına sahip olup bol doğal ışık ve hoş bahçe manzaraları sunmaktadır.

SALON KAT - tavan yüksekliği 10' 4"

Yüksek bir merdiven, orijinal çift kapılı tarihi giriş vestibülüne ve mermer zeminlere götürmektedir. Yüksek tavanlar ve iki orijinal mermer dekoratif şömine, ön salon ve arka yaşam alanlarına büyüklük katmaktadır. Bu kattaki büyük 7’ yüksekliğindeki pencereler bol ışık alarak doğudaki West Fourth Caddesi manzarasına ve batıdaki güzel townhouse bahçelerine güzel manzaralar sunmaktadır.

ZEMİN KAT - tavan yüksekliği 8’

Merdivenlerden aşağıda, tarihin hissini uyandıran, ancak tamamen modern bir estetik ile yenilenmiş geniş bir mutfak yer almaktadır. Bol klasik beyaz dolap ve işleme, Carrera mermer slab tezgah ve arka sıva, havalandırmalı 36" altı ocaklı Wolf ocağı, Miele bulaşık makinesi ve paslanmaz çelik Subzero buzdolabı ile donatılmıştır. Orijinal gömme yemek takımı dolabı, tarihi detayları ve donanımı koruyacak şekilde yeniden çalışılmıştır, ancak yeni soft-close donanımı içermektedir.

Geniş yemek odası 13’ 9” X 13” ölçülerindedir ve mermer dekoratif bir şömineye sahiptir. Yemek odasından dışarı açılan bir kap, orijinal dökme demir spindel ile çevrili ve caddeden bir kapı ile merdivenin altında depolama alanı olan bitkili bir ön bahçeye çıkmaktadır. Bu katın bir tam banyosu bulunmaktadır.

ÜÇÜNCÜ KAT - tavan yüksekliği 9’ 4”

Bu katta iki büyük yatak odası bulunmaktadır. Doğuya bakan yatak odası, orijinal dekoratif mermer şömineye sahip olup West Fourth Caddesi'nin ağaçlarının üzerinden diğer tarihi evlere bakmaktadır. Batıya bakan yatak odası doğrudan yeşil ve huzurlu townhouse bahçelerine bakmaktadır. Bu odaları birbirine bağlayan koridorda bir örtü dolabı ve içinde yağmur duşu, gömme ilaç dolabı, metro fayansı ve Carrera mermer bazası bulunan bir banyo mevcuttur.

DÖRDÜNCÜ KAT - tavan yüksekliği 9’

En üst kat, geniş bir yüzeyden geçen ana yatak odasına tahsis edilmiştir. Yatak alanı, huzurlu bahçelerin üzerine batıya bakmaktadır ve entegre dolapların tam bir duvarını içermektedir. Geniş bir ofis, West Fourth Caddesi’ne doğu tarafına bakmaktadır ve vintage ayaklı küvet ve ayaklı lavabo ile pencereli ana banyoya da görünümü vardır.

Ünlü RKLA Stüdyosu ve Framework Mimarlık tarafından tasarlanmış bir çatı terası için Topluluk İcra Kurulu onaylı planlar bulunmaktadır. Tam bir bodrum, bol depolama alanı sunmakta ve havalandırmalı tam boy Whirlpool çamaşır makinesi/kurutucuya sahiptir.

Located on a quiet stretch of West Fourth Street between Perry and Charles Streets, this four-story brick townhouse was built in 1877. It was designed by Alexander M. McKean in a late French Second Empire style and is crowned by a Neo-Grec cornice. Inside, the original details of this 15’ wide house have been lovingly restored. The renovation maintains and respects the character of this remarkable home, while bringing it completely up-to-date, upgrading electricity, plumbing and gas service, but keeping and restoring original details including hardware, flooring, fixtures and historic plaster medallions and moldings throughout. Other upgrades include new windows, central HVAC, and Sonos full house audio (updated to the latest equipment in the last year). The original built-in china cupboard has been re-worked to keep the historic details, hardware etc., but incorporates new soft-close hardware.



The spacious dining room measures 13’ 9” X 13” and features a marble decorative fireplace. A door off the dining room leads to a planted front garden area which is surrounded by original cast iron spindles and has a gate to the street and storage under the stoop.
